| Recoba class convinces Zac

Recobas first goal
Coach Alberto Zaccheroni insists that Alvaro Recoba is part of his Inter plans after his classy display against Siena.
The Uruguayan is considered as something of an enigma but he was on fire last night in the 4-0 win over the Tuscan minnows.
"He’s a formidable player," said Zac. "It is a pleasure for me to work with a player of his immense talents.
"If he continues to play like that then it will be tough for me to leave him out of the side in the future.
"I just hope that he can stay clear of injuries. That is something that he is aiming to do as he is looking for consistency."
Recoba not only scored twice in the victory but lit up the game with some first class touches.
"I feel a lot more relaxed with Zaccheroni even if the whole side played well," stated Recoba. "I’m feeling good now and I have five months to prove my worth."
Inter are back on a high after the January signings of Adriano and Stankovic were followed by that display at the San Siro.
"The new players have done well and we have an excellent squad," continued Recoba.
"I don’t think we can win the Scudetto but we want a top four finish and fight for the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup."
Adriano: "Recoba is a great player and he showed that yesterday evening. Il Chino is a footballer who fights on the pitch and kicks the ball very well. Not playing him wouldn't be a good idea. The coach decides the formation, I can just say that I can see him doing well in attack with myself and Vieri . I repeat: Recoba is a fantastic player, but we can't forget all the others."
